Who is staying where? eg any B and B suggestions or am I gonna have to resort to a fooking tent

Obviously will touch base with the Chippenham crowd and see whats going on there

I am definately camping and I think Rik is as well. I have quite a few days off so I'll be going down on the friday.

I am camping at Kite Hill, so see you there - going over on the Thursday (picking up my scoot freshly restored)

It's my 40th so will be celebrating big time, planning a mass outing for birthday dindins at the sloop (down the road from Kite Hill - and it has been newly refurbed, and is excellent now) on the Sunday, probably about 4.30pm (after the ride out - which I will be on - brace yourself Nita ) If anyone fancies it let me know sooner rather than later so I can give them an idea of numbers (about 30 of us so far). Afterwards we will all be heading into town on the bus - stops just outside sloop and is a quid per head to get to town, drops everyone at the bottom of union street on the opposite corner to the King Lud (picks up there too) so nobody will have to drive if they don't want to!

camping at kite hill -managed to get booked in last week, but according to LCGB site is now SOLD OUT!
Unsurprising I suppose this close to the rally. Going over with Swindon IC on 11am ferry Friday currently planning to come back 1430 Sunday ferry but I might be persuaded otherwise or not!

Yes, I didnt listen -or perhaps assumed that as I think the Friday/night is always the best part of IOW that no-one would miss it surely!?
Thats why I planned on going for Fri/Sat only.
To be honest if cash/time/sleep was no object, then I'd go to Peterborough soul on the friday night then drive straight to the Isle afterwards! (Dean Parrish Live on stage and Russ Winstanley DJ-ing!!)
Oh well, ginger bird, Ill see your mob on saturday lunchtime then!
