Hi Leigh and Tim,
Yes unfortunately, LCGB points are same for any distance except Europe when you receive double points of 100 instead of 50. No Leigh we will never win and I totally agree with Tim, it is lovely when all of us sign on and yes, as a club, we could make 5th place. May mean nothing to many but a lot to me. We could have prob come 3rd last year if we had all signed on at Woolacombe but we didn't.
Just raises our profile and respect and when I attend LCGB annual dinner dance and presentation in Doncaster each year I hear lots of other clubs mentioned and it would be lovely to hear "Exit 17". Anyway, the way I'm going, I'm 2nd. at present (They would not allow me points for coming off on way to Sandford but decided to stick strictly to rules) we may get mention this year. Bruno also half promised that he may attend Doncaster in support of my "Try" which would be lovely and if anyone else fancies coming let me know. It's always in January when rooms in the Earl of Doncaster hotel are usually around £60 twin/double.
